Minnie was a beloved favorite when the girls were younger. We used to have a ton of Minnie stuff and Elise's 2nd birthday was Minnie themed. I thought they had out grown her and we had given most of our Minnie stuff away so I was surprised when they actually suggested Minnie Monday. Once again I am embarrassed to admit how many party supplies I still had in the cabinet. 4 years I held onto the centerpieces? I am a craft/party hoarder and I clearly need help.

Come Inside It's Fun Inside!

The day started with getting on our Minnie Ears and our finest Minnie Outfits. We then rocked the day with the Hot Dog Dance. Sadly, Daddy blew his knee out when this lock down started and was unable to join us in the dance. I only wish he would let me video and share his version of it.

Bobbly Wobbly Bow Bands!

We gathered up our Minnie Books from the "library." We love the 5 Minute Disney Storybooks. We had several Minnie stories in one of the books. The girls used to be obsessed with the story about Minnie's Bow-tique and her Bobbly, Wobbly, Bow Bands. We ended up reading several of those stories throughout the day.

Minnie Cakes!

As I said before, I am the world's worst cook but I can nail pancakes. So, I made Minnie pancakes on Minnie plates. Clearly I have been in lock down for too long because I got way too excited about how well my Minnie pancakes came out and my family wasn't nearly as excited as I thought they should be. The plates look complicated but they are easy and we made them the night before. If you have a black plate (Thank you Wood Ranch for always giving 3x the needed amount every time we order) cut out two black circles and a bow and staple. There now you have a Minnie plate!

The Clubhouse is Open!

The Clubhouse was open for school with breaks for Minnie snacks and lunch. Snacks and set up for Minnie day is so fun. Hot Diggity Dogs, Fruit Bows, Daisy's Garden, Donald's Quakers, Pluto's Pretzels, and Mickey's Clubhouse sandwiches. Bow-tie pasta looked fun but my kids won't eat pasta for some odd reason. I had a ton of printables but you can find more on etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/271095806/minnie-mouse-party-signs-in-light-pink?ref=yr_purchases

The real reason that I was excited about today was that I got to sneak in a lesson and some education. The Red Cross makes these fantastic Disney disaster planning activity books. We get a free copy every year from the Santa Ana Boo at the Zoo event. I have been meaning to go through this since Halloween. We finally did. We talked about hazards, ran drills and set our disaster plans. The book was appropriate and really well done.

Minnie's Bow-tique is Open!

Elise was super into today's theme and made a Minnie mask using some old party supplies while I was on a conference call.

We made Bobbly Wobbly Bow Bands after dinner. We had two bow making kits in the craft cabinet that had been partially used. But you can use any old junk you have laying around the house. Old barrettes, old head bands, old ribbon, feathers, jewels and glue and it gave me a lot of time to work in my office.

Well that's all folks!
