Here comes the sun, here comes the sun.

And I say it's all right.

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter.

Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here.

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun.

And I say it's all right.

Little darling, the smiles returning to their faces.

Since we are down to our last two theme days, I was saving some of the best for last. Today was going to be Showman Sunday and be all about our favorite musical The Greatest Showman. But there has been a big shift in our quarantine life over the last few days. We found our early days of quarantine dreary and overwhelming, so we looking for things to do and ways to stay motivated. Now things are starting to ease up a bit and even mother nature seems to sense things are improving. The weather has really warmed up and we finally have our sunshine back! The weather was perfect today, Daddy heated the pool, and the girls want to be outside every minute. We weren't ready to end our themes at 30 but 40 seems like the right number to wrap up this fun project. I think we finally see the sunlight at the end of this long tunnel.

Elise woke up inspired to put on her Sunday best. We had recently cleaned out the girls closets and put in the next sizes of clothes. All of the "new" clothes are exciting to wear. After talking about our theme day, we all decided to adjust our theme to Sunshine Sunday. We started off with a lovely a Sunday brunch in our Sunday best. I was glad we shifted gears and kept it low key and let them just enjoy the sunshine. Most of the day was spent swimming in the pool, playing with their snow from Sisters Forever Saturday, and their potions from Witches and Wizard Wednesday. We painted small little sunshine tiles as a little tribute to our theme day.

We ate all of our meals outside and even ended the day with an outside movie. Tomorrow is our last theme day. I have a list ready and handy if we choose to extend it at a later date but I think we are ready to let the sun go down on theme days and we are ready for the dawn of a new tomorrow.
